The International Cricket Council (ICC) on Friday, January 5, announced the official groups for the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2024 and released the schedule for the showpiece event that is set to take place in the USA and the Caribbean from June 1 to June 29.
As many as 20 teams are set to take part in the upcoming T20 World Cup, which is the highest number of teams to ever take part in a single ICC event.
All eyes will be on India after they made it to two ICC finals in 2023, losing both the World Test Championship (WTC) Final and the 2023 World Cup final.

The Men in Blue, who won the inaugural edition in 2023, have failed to get their hands on ICC silverware since 2013, when they won the ICC Champions Trophy held in England and Wales.
