The Jacksonville Jaguars (9-7) look to win their second-consecutive AFC South title when they face cellar-dwelling Tennessee (5-11) in an early afternoon game Sunday in the NFL's final regular-season weekend.

The Jaguars were a 6.5-point favorite over the Titans when odds were posted early Sunday evening. Live Jaguars vs. Titans odds have Jacksonville favored by , while the Titans can be had for on the moneyline. The OVER/UNDER is .

Against the spread this season, the Jaguars have a 9-7 mark. Dating to the last seven games of the 2022 season, including the playoffs, Jacksonville is 15-8 against the line.

The Titans have gone 6-9-1 this season. Adding in their swoon to close out 2022, their ATS mark is 7-14-2.

On the O/U board, both teams have been involved in more matchups that have gone UNDER the total than OVER. Jacksonville has nine UNDERS in its 16 outings, and Tennessee has had 11.

Here's the latest NFL betting odds for Jaguars vs. Titans:

The big news entering this game is whether Jacksonville starting quarterback Trevor Lawrence will be able to return to the lineup after sitting out last week's game against Carolina, a 26-0 victory, with a shoulder injury. It was the only game he's missed in his three-year career.

He reportedly is day-to-day. Earlier this season, he worked through a knee injury suffered in Week 6, a sprained ankle in Week 13, and a concussion in Week 15.

If he can't go, journeyman C.J. Beathard is in line to make his second straight start. But in last week's victory, he was far from impressive. The Jags had only two TDs, and one came after taking over on Carolina's 15. At least he didn't fumble or throw an INT.

We're also eyeing the status of Titans rookie QB Will Levis, who has a foot injury. He's been nothing special since opening his career with four TD throws and no INTs in Week 8 against Atlanta. Since then, he's had only four more scoring passes with four interceptions.

If the rookie is out, Veteran Ryan Tannehill would likely fill in for Levis again.

In addition to Lawrence, the Jags are monitoring the status of starting WR Zay Jones. Jacksonville is hopeful star WR Christian Kirk, who has missed the past four games after core muscle surgery, will be ready to go.

Jaguars betting news

Although Jacksonville is in a three-way tie atop the division with Indianapolis and Houston, it holds the tiebreaker and will take the division title with a win on Sunday.

They also could slide in as a wild card with a loss if Pittsburgh loses at Seattle, Denver falls at Las Vegas, and Indianapolis and Houston don't play to a tie.

This season's climax runs almost opposite last year when the Jaguars were three games behind front-running Tennessee in the division standings before running off five straight wins to close out at 9-8 and win the crown.

This season, Jacksonville was two games up on Indy and Houston six weeks ago before going on a four-game losing streak that ended last week with a 26-0 win over Carolina.

Titans betting news

Tennessee had been 9-1 against Jacksonville from 2017 through 2021 before their late collapse in 2022.

In that Week 12 loss at Jacksonville this season, the Titans had only 38 offensive snaps, the fewest for a team this year, and with star RB Derrick Henry having just 38 yards on 10 carries.

Even though he's cleared the 1,000-yard mark for the sixth time in the past seven years, he's had some extra-rough outings. Such as a career-worst 9 yards on 16 carries three weeks ago against Houston in a 19-16 loss in OT.

Last week, Tennessee lost to the Texans 26-3. At least the Titans put their fans out of their misery early, finishing the game in a league season-low 2 hours and 39 minutes.

Jaguars vs. Titans predictions

Jacksonville is fortunate to play on Sunday and not in one of the two Saturday games on the schedule, thus giving Lawrence another day to recover.

The Jaguars thrived last week on defense, allowing Carolina only seven first downs and 124 yards. On Sunday, the unit will work against an offensive line that has allowed five-plus sacks in the past three games.

And with regard to Tennessee's record at home, it's not as impressive as it was a while back when they opened 4-0 SU/ATS. In their past three, they've gone 0-3 SU/0-2-1 ATS.

Prediction: Jaguars and UNDER
