The world's top eight male tennis players are in Turin for the ATP World Tour Finals 2023 — the traditional end-of-season tournament.
Pala Alpitour will host the event in which the elite slug it out for the title, with Novak Djokovic saying his "biggest goal" is to finish the season as world number one.
The reigning World Tour Finals champion entered the showpiece knowing that he needed victory in only one match to achieve that aim.
Carlos Alcaraz will also make his debut at the age of 20. The Spaniard finished 2022 as the world number one but did not compete at the finals because of injury.

When is the ATP World Tour Finals 2023?
The ATP Finals 2023 begin on Sunday, November 12 and run until Sunday, November 19, with the singles and doubles finals both taking place on the closing day.
The matches take place on a hardcourt surface, with the top prize for an undefeated champion set at $4,801,500 million (£3.9m).

ATP World Tour Finals 2023 past winners
Djokovic's win in 2022 was his first since 2015, when he was victorious for a fourth successive year. Alex Zverev triumphed in 2021, while Daniil Medvedev, Stefanos Tsitsipas, Grigor Dimitrov and Andy Murray have all won single editions since 2012.
Although it has taken on several different names over the decades, there has been a form of the end-of-season tournament since 1970, when Stan Smith became the first winner.
Roger Federer won six times between 2003 and 2011, and icons such as Ilie Nastase, Jimmy Connors, John McEnroe, Bjorn Borg, Ivan Lendl and Pete Sampras have also been among the champions.
McEnroe would have a case for being the most successful finals player in history, winning a total of 10 times – seven in doubles, three in singles.
Djokovic and Federer lead the way in terms of singles titles, with six each.
