After a year away from the octagon, Paddy Pimblett returns at UFC 296 on December 16. "The Baddy" faces veteran Tony Ferguson, a fan favorite who has lost six in a row following a 12-fight win streak lasting from 2013-2019.

A win for Pimblett could help his cause for being the future of MMA. It could also form critics for him beating down a fighter at the tail end of his career. A win for Ferguson could revive his career, while a loss may force him to think through things and potentially retire.

Is this the right fight for both men? There has been plenty of debate regarding the UFC matchmakers' decision to book this bout. Pimblett is sure to be the betting favorite. But after barely squeaking out a win against Jared Gordon, a victory some may call controversial, and healing from ankle surgery, this is a fight he can’t lose.

On the latest Fight Disciples, hosts Adam Catterall and Nick Peet break down this matchup and look into who has the edge. Catterall and Peet also discuss Israel Adesanya’s latest DUI case.

The former UFC middleweight champion reportedly pled guilty to a drunk-driving charge in New Zealand in an incident that occurred three weeks before he defended and lost the title against Sean Strickland at UFC 293. They wonder whether Adesanya is in a good place and what’s next for him.

Finally, they look into a PFL Europe event featuring the exciting Cedric Doumbe and the talented Dakota Ditcheva.
