For months, LA Knight has been treated like a true star. The former Impact Wrestling World Champion has the crowd chanting his name and catchphrase before, during, and after WWE shows. Now, Knight teams with one of WWE’s most popular stars at Fastlane, which takes place at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indiana on October 7.

John Cena, dubbed “The Greatest of All Time” in WWE, will team with Knight against The Bloodline’s Solo Sikoa and Jimmy Uso. It is the second interaction between Cena and Knight after the former refereed a match between Knight and The Miz, ultimately giving Knight the veteran seal of approval.

On the first SmackDown of September, Cena interrupted a Jimmy Uso promo. Not long after, Jimmy and Sikoa attacked Cena. Cena was supposed to team with AJ Styles and several others, but The Bloodline attacked everyone in their path. Knight eventually helped Cena out, and the two have formed a team to take on the duo.

Outside the main event, there are several title bouts on the card. Seth "Freakin'" Rollins defends the World Heavyweight Title against Shinsuke Nakamura in a Last Man Standing match, and Iyo Sky defends the WWE Women's Title against Asuka and Charlotte Flair. The Judgement Day's Finn Balor and Damian Priest also defend the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Titles against Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso.
