With two races left of the 2023 Formula One season, Max Verstappen will look to even further extend his single season winning record in the sport starting at the 2023 Las Vegas Grand Prix.

The Dutchman and his Red Bull team have absolutely dominated the field this year, with Verstappen winning 17 of 20 races and his team overall winning all but one race along the way as they set an almost unprecedented benchmark for the future.

But F1's return to Sin City for the first time in four decades could prove to be a bit more of a leveller this time around.

Verstappen himself has admitted to struggling heavily in his preparation for this new track, claiming that he's spent most of his time in the simulator crashing rather than racing in a straight line.

That should come as music to the ears of the other top drivers then, especially McLaren's Lando Norris who remains well in the fight for the first win of his career here. His P2 finish in Brazil two weeks ago saw him run Verstappen close through the early stages as his and rookie teammate Oscar Piastri's cars continue to look very quick.

Veterans Lewis Hamilton and Fernando Alonso will also be circling for success in Las Vegas as both look for their first wins of the season after impressing of late. Charles Leclerc, Carlos Sainz, Sergio Perez and George Russell additionally all remain as serious threats for the race victory here.
