Cody Rhodes, Jey Uso, and Sami Zayn have been feuding with The Judgement Day for months. Between trading titles and contesting grudge matches, both groups have attempted to get the edge over the other. Now the rivalry will go up a gear, thanks to something Cody’s father Dusty helped create: WarGames.

WarGames returns to Survivor Series on November 25. The event takes place at the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Illinois, and will air on Peacock in the U.S.

Since 1987, the WarGames match, featuring two rings inside a cage, has been a staple of pro wrestling. Used to end a feud or to enhance one, WarGames has involved the likes of Ric Flair, The Road Warriors, Dusty, Sting, and Hulk Hogan. Cody, Jey Uso, and Sami Zayn team with Seth “Freakin’” Rollins to take on Damian Priest, Finn Balor, Dominik Mysterio, and JD McDonagh. Drew McIntyre recently joined Judgement Day, and Rhodes countered with the returning Randy Orton.

"I really want to wax poetic about it in terms of how it's Dusty's, and it was his creation," Rhodes said on Busted Open Radio via Wrestling Inc. "But everything is coming up Dusty these days. I've told people this before. I thought as time went on and, you know, I got older, they would know less, but he's just everything. He touched everything, especially on the way out. So to be able to do this is great, but I can't think of it in that sense because really I'm thinking about the match itself, what Hunter, Triple H, has changed [about] the match. If there is anybody who had the right to change the match, it was him because of Dusty and his relationship."

In the women's WarGames match, Bianca Belair, Charlotte Flair, Shotzi, and Becky Lynch take on Bayley, Asuka, Iyo Sky, and Kairi Sane.

Rhea Ripley defends the Women's World Title against Zoey Stark. As one of the top stars of The Judgement Day, Ripley looks to involve herself in the WarGames match somehow. Finally, Gunther, the longest-reigning WWE Intercontinental Champion of all time, faces a multi-time champion in The Miz.
