First up, Season 8 Champions Dabang Delhi take on three-time PKL winners, Patna Pirates. The Delhi franchise are placed fourth on the table, with five wins and one tie in nine games. The Patna Pirates are placed one below, on the fifth spot. A win for the Pirates in Mumbai would see them leap beyond their today's opponents.

Pirates have won three games and lost two off their previous five PKL matches. The Delhi outfit have lost only one of their previous five matches, and are currently without their talisman, Naveen Kumar.

In the second game of Friday's doubleheader, hosts U Mumba will square off against a struggling but resurgent, Bengaluru Bulls. The Bulls have been a shadow of their past in Season 10, and are placed on eighth position after 10 games. The Bulls have won three matches out of their previous five, and have somewhat made up for their sluggish start.

Hosts U Mumba have been a surprise package this season. The team has clogged wins in games when they were second-favourites. The side has shown grit and determination, after they had to change their tactics midway in the season. The hosts are placed sixth on the table with 26 points in seven matches. A win on Friday would see them rise above in the points table.
