The puck has dropped at the 2024 World Juniors.

Gothenburg, Sweden is the site for the annual holiday competition, with 10 teams competing for the right to be crowned a world champion.

The United States enters the 2024 tournament as the favorite to win gold, as David Carle's squad is highlighted by NHL first-round picks Cutter Gauthier (Flyers), Jimmy Snuggerud (Blues), Rutger McGroarty (Jets) and Will Smith (Sharks).

Team USA hasn't won gold at the event since 2021. The country is coming off a bronze medal finish in 2023, defeating Sweden in overtime last year to finish in third.

Per usual, NHL Network has all of the games at the competition, including exclusive coverage of Team USA at the tournament.

The Sporting News has everything USA fans need to know to watch the 2024 World Juniors.
