The 2023 College Football Playoff title game was a blowout victory in which Stetson Bennett and the Bulldogs knocked off TCU, 65-7. The 2024 edition could be much closer affair with less of a talent gap as No. 1 Michigan faces No. 2 Washington.
Michael Penix Jr. came up just short of breaking Tim Tebow's record for most passing yards in a Sugar Bowl as he completed of his passes for 430 yards and 2 touchdowns in the 37-31 escape from a Texas comeback. Tebow had passed for 482 yards in 2010
Next up, Penix and his Huskies will look to have a similar amount of success as they face they face the nation's top team in Michigan, which slid past Alabama in the semifinals, topping the Crimson Tide, 27-20 in overtime.
It will be interesting to see how things shake out as Washington and Michigan meet. But where will the final game of the season take place?
