And then there were four.

The final weekend in the NASCAR Cup Series Championship is here, as the last four drivers eligible to win the championship race are battling in Phoenix for the ultimate prize in NASCAR.

The 2023 championship race returns to the Phoenix Raceway for the third consecutive season. Four of NASCAR's most talented youngsters will be racing to be crowned champion — Kyle Larson, William Byron, Ryan Blaney and Christopher Bell.

There is a good chance fans will see a first-time winner in 2023. Larson, who is the favorite for the 2023 championship race, is the only one who previously captured the Cup Series crown. He won the Cup Series back in 2021, beating out Chase Elliott, Martin Truex Jr., and Denny Hamlin.

The Cup Series championship race consists of three stages and 312 laps in total on the one-mile track. The Championship 4 aren't the only drivers at the event, however, they are the only ones eligible to win the championship.
