Bears vs. Packers odds, props and predictions for NFL Week 18.

It's "win and you're in" for the Green Bay Packers, who host a Chicago Bears team playing much better of late.

Chicago wants a win to end their season on a high note and try to take momentum into the offseason under a coaching staff trying to prove they deserve to keep their jobs. Of course, Green Bay can secure an NFL wild card spot with a win after winning two straight to nudge their way back into the playoff picture.

The Packers have not always made it look pretty, as they have only covered one spread in the last four games, but their offense is rolling. Jordan Love and the Packers offense have helped the OVER hit in their last six contests. The Bears are also playing well, winning and covering in their last two games while hitting the OVER for total points in two straight weeks.

Here are the live odds for the NFL Week 18 matchup between the Bears and Packers at 4:25 p.m. ET on Sunday, plus player props from FanDuel Sportsbook, and a betting prediction for the NFC North showdown.

Chicago Bears betting news

Chicago has some tough decisions this offseason — for the second straight year, they need to decide whether to stick with Justin Fields or use the No. 1 pick to take a quarterback. Midway through the season, it seemed like a no-brainer, but Fields has played the best football of his career over the last several weeks.

Since returning from injury, Field has led the Bears to a 4-2 record and looked like a franchise quarterback. He only has three interceptions over the six-game stretch, throwing for five touchdowns and rushing for another three. He also has averaged 203 passing yards and 65.5 rushing yards per game. Simply put, he has carried the Bears' offense, and even in the two losses the Bears were within one score.

This will be the second time Field has faced the Packers this season. In the first matchup, he threw for 216 yards, rushed for 59 and had one passing touchdown and one interception. He has been playing much better since then, and the Packers defense has not been great over the past month, allowing 20 points or more in three of their last four.

Green Bay Packers betting news

Green Bay's season has been about whether or not Jordan Love can be the next franchise quarterback after Aaron Rodgers and Brett Favre had been longtime cornerstones. That is a lot of pressure on Love, but he has delivered in many respects and has either matched or surpassed the stats Rodgers put up in his first season as a starter. Not only that, but Love has the Packers on the verge of a playoff berth, something Rodgers did not do in his first season.

Love has also done it with a very inconsistent group of skill players. Love's top wide receiver, Christian Watson, has only played in nine games, and starting running back Aaron Jones has played in just 10. Missing your top two skill players for at least six games is tough to overcome. Plus, rookie tight end Luke Musgrave was starting to break out when he landed on IR and missed the last six games.

A crucial part of their game against the Bears will be the availability of their skill group players. If Watson and Jones both play, it would be a massive boost to an offense that has been strong the last few weeks. Suppose either miss and players like Jayden Reed and AJ Dillon, who have not been full practice participants this week, don't play. That will make a win against the Bears a challenge.

Bears vs. Packers prediction: High-scoring battle comes down to the wire!

With the Packers injury issues, it is tough to project which team is more likely to win this matchup. It is noteworthy that each team has hit the OVER total points in their past several games. That trend leads us to think there should be a lot of points in this Week 18 contest.
