Oilers' Zach Hyman takes Evan Bouchard shot to the face... and scores vs. Kings

Kings vs. Oilers has had a little bit of everything all series, but in Tuesday's pivotal Game 5, it delivered a little something different: A goal off someone's face.

With the Oilers already leading 4-2 in the second period, Evan Bouchard squared up for a shot above the circles and put it into the scrum, where it found the face of Zach Hyman. Hyman instinctively spun as the shot ricocheted off his face and into the net, giving the Oilers a 5-2 lead.

Hyman, as any human would, immediately doubled over in pain as his teammates celebrated around him.

Luckily the Oilers have an evergreen image of what his face looked like before taking a Bouch Bomb into it.

Thankfully, Hyman was fine and was high fiving his teammates by the time he got to the bench.

Hyman was so fine, in fact, he came back and scored again in the third period.

It's definitely an unconventional way to score, and probably not one Hyman wants to replicate. Hyman, of course, scored the game-winner in Sunday's Game 4 overtime win that knotted the series up at two.

He probably prefers that method, all things considered.
