Australia will hold its first major pro wrestling event in five years, with WWE officials officially announcing a deal with the Western Australian Government.

With the company continuing to grow their global footprint with 2023 shows in Canada, Puerto Rico, Saudi Arabia and England, a potential return Down Under will be a major boost for both parties.

And with the likes of Rhea Ripley, Bronson Reed and Grayson Waller all finding success under the WWE umbrella, now is the perfect time to come back to Australia.

WA decision-makers have made no secret of their desire to bring major events to the state, with a recent UFC pay-per-view and upcoming national-exclusive Coldplay concert bringing in tourists from all over the country.

The event has now been confirmed as the annual WWE Elimination Chamber premium live event, with Optus Stadium set to host the blockbuster show.
