Arsenal play host to Liverpool in a high-stakes FA Cup Third Round clash on January 7, two weeks on from the pair battling out a 1-1 Premier League draw at Anfield.
Both sides are expected to be in the running for the Premier League title in the months ahead, with Mikel Arteta's side also through to the UEFA Champions League Round of 16, and Jurgen Klopp's Reds progressing to the Europa League knockouts.
However, the FA Cup remains important to both managers, with Arteta winning it as his first trophy in charge of Arsenal in 2020 and Klopp lifting it in 2022.
Alongside the thrilling clash on the pitch, Arsenal will also be wearing their customised white kit, to send a public message over the club's community project towards reducing youth violence and knife crime in the UK.
Why are Arsenal wearing a white kit against Liverpool?
Arsenal worn white in the FA Cup third round games in 2022 and 2023, away at Nottingham Forest and Oxford United respectively, but this is their first home match in the strip.
The 'white out' kit forms part of the Arsenal in the Community 'No More Red' campaign aimed at charity work which focuses on reducing knife crime and youth violence, along with providing positive role models.
As per data published on the club's website there were 11,502 knife offences recorded in London between January 2022 and November 2022. Arsenal have remained steadfast in their push to help create safe spaces for local young people.
