Let it Ryde.

The 2023 Ryder Cup is here, and there's no shortage of storylines coming out of Italy even before golfers take the first tee. The European squad is looking to avenge a tough loss from the 2021 event. Meanwhile, the Americans are looking for their first win outside of U.S. borders since 1993.

But plenty of eyes will be on Justin Thomas. Thomas was one of the most curious picks by captain Zach Johnson; while the 15-time winner on the PGA Tour has an excellent resume, he hasn't quite captured that success dating back to the start of the 2023 season.

Thomas exited the 2023 season without a win but with six missed cuts, and hasn't exactly looked like the Justin Thomas of old. Still, that didn't prevent Johnson from making the pick, and he's relying on an improvement on Thomas' 6-2-1 Ryder Cup record.
