The Stars did what they had to do in Game 4 and extended their season at least one more game.

On the brink of elimination, Captain America Joe Pavelski potted home a power play goal just 3:18 in overtime giving the Stars a 3-2 win.

“Just really living in the moment," Pavelski said. “A tremendous feeling for sure, and glad we could play another game, and go from there and try to extend it.”

Jason Robertson did his part to help keep Dallas' season alive scoring twice in Game 4. Jake Oettinger bounced back after being shelved in a Game 3 loss making 37 saves in the win.

The pressure is still on Dallas at this point in the series. The team may have avoided the sweep at home, but winning a road game in Vegas will be no easy task.

After taking a 2-1 lead deep into the third period and blowing the game, Vegas forward Jonathan Marchessault felt like the team's effort wasn't good enough.

“Our effort wasn’t good enough. Closing a series is probably the hardest game in a series, right, so it just wasn’t good enough from our group,” Marchessault said postgame. “It was still a one-goal game in overtime. It was right there for us.”

Will the Golden Knights shut the door on a Stars comeback and get back to the Cup Final? Or will the Stars continue to put pressure on Vegas and force a Game 6?
