Jans Arends' top form at Triton Poker's Super High Roller Series has continued with the Dutchman winning the 30,000 Heads Up No'Limit Hold'Em Eight-Handed event in Vietnam.

After finishing second in the 15,000 NLHE Eight-Handed event to Nacho Barbero on Friday, Arends got his hands on the title by defeating Malaysian Kiat Lee heads-up.

With a deal agreed between the final three players - Arends, Lee and Jonathan Jaffe - with the Netherlands national getting 921,178, Lee in second scored 851,392 and Jaffe in third received 766,890.

With Brian Kim the runaway leader at the final table, Kayhan Mokri was first to be eliminated after suffering a soul-crushing elimination with pocket kings with Daniel Dvoress only having less than a big blind left.

Mokri jammed his kings over the top of Jaffe's three-bet with ace-king, but was left knocked out after two aces came on the flop.

Dvoress, who was crippled earlier at the table by Jaffe, went out next hand with his one big blind all-in with king-jack being outdrawn by Seth Davies' ace-queen.

Jaffe secured a huge double-up with a battle of the chip leaders against Oscar Brodkin, as the Englishman bluffed all his chips into the American's two-pair and being left with fumes after.

Brodkin's last two big blinds were finished off by Arends in the next hand with his king-jack defeated by the Dutchman's ace-deuce.

After an extended period of play with no elimination, Biao Ding was out in sixth unluckily with his king-eight suited but knocked off by Arends' king-three, that flopped two pair.

On his third final table from three in Vietnam, Davies saw himself eliminated in fifth after his pocket jacks flip against Jaffe's king-queen came up short when a queen hit on the turn.

With Jaffe, Lee, Arends and Kim all shadow boxing for a period, the latter fell first in fourth after losing a huge flip against Lee and then being virtually forced all-in to lose against Jaffe.

A huge pot brewed between chip leader Jaffe and Arends, with the Dutchman moving top when his ace-king hit an ace on the turn versus the American's pocket twos.

Arends and Lee were left heads-up after Jaffe's pocket twos jam was called by the Dutchman's ace-queen, who scooped the pot and a commanding two-to-one chip lead over his Malaysian adversary.

The two traded blows throughout a lengthy final table, with Lee assuming the chip lead off Arends, but a flip between the Dutchman's ace-four and the Malaysian's pocket sevens saw the former achieve an unassailable lead when an ace rolled off on the flop.

Arends eventually finished Lee off to win his first Triton title at his first ever appearance at a Triton festival.

Ivan Leow award (Triton player of the year) leader Stephen Chidwick bubbled the final table, but secured his second cash of the series after winning 30,000 in the 15,000 No Limit Hold'Em Eight Handed event.

Hong Kong player Phil Chiu was the unlucky bubble boy, when he made a stand with ace-eight suited but ran into overnight chip leader Kim's two-pair with king-deuce.

A swag of stars missed the money including Nacho Barbero, Patrik Antonius, Sam Grafton, Isaac Haxton, Wiktor Malinowski, Jason Koon, Fedor Holz and Justin Bonomo.
