First they dropped the Horned Frogs, then Drew Timme dropped an F-bomb.

The Gonzaga Bulldogs advanced to the Sweet 16 on Sunday, outlasting TCU 84-81 and setting a date with UCLA this week. While they didn't go bombs-away vs. TCU — the Zags shot 32 percent from 3-point land — Bulldogs stalwart Timme dropped a bomb of his own.

In his on-court interview following a history-making performance, Timme very casually dropped an F-bomb to reporter Andy Katz.

"Before they announced our starting lineup, I don't know, it was like, 'in seven straight Sweet 16s,' I'm like, 'We cannot be the team that f—s this one up," Timme told Katz, very nonchalantly, and without regret.

The F-bomb wasn't the only soundbite that Timme graced reporters with following the game. During his post-game press conference, he did a little light-hearted trolling of TCU, adding salt to the Horned Frogs' wound:

"Well I saw some nice things on the internet before, you know, maybe taking some shots at us, me and our program," Timme said. "Throw lighter fluid on the fire if you wish, I thought TCU was a highly educated school and they didn't sound so smart with their comments pre-game."

Timme earned a little bit of right to talk some trash. With his 28-point performance, Timme became the seventh player in NCAA Tournament history to record nine 20-point games. Some of that is due to the fact that he's been with Gonzaga since 2019 — plenty of opportunity to rack up the points.

If Gonzaga downs UCLA in the Sweet 16, it'll be worth listening if Timme has any sour words once again.
